On the afternoon of April 11, 2024, representatives from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA®), Bao Viet Securities Joint Stock Company, and SAPP Education Joint Stock Company attended the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding collaborative efforts in financial certification training organized by IMA and the advertisement of the successful CMA certification model within the financial business community.
With over 140,000 members in 150 countries, IMA stands as one of the world's largest and most reputable associations focused on advancing the field of management accounting. Collaborating with SAPP Academy, training center of ACCA, CFA, and CMA certifications, will provide numerous training opportunities for BVSC - a long-standing and reputable securities company in the Vietnamese securities market.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thai - Managing Director of SAPP Academy’s speech at the ceremony, he expressed his honor at becoming the bridge between the two organizations, IMA and BVSC. He hopes to bring the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification closer to BVSC personnel through seminars and in-depth training programs, thus spreading its influence within the financial business community.
Ms. Tricia Jao - Partnership Relations Manager of IMA expressed her appreciation for the warm welcome from SAPP’s team during her time in Vietnam and the opportunity to meet with top business partners like BVSC. She pledged to provide IMA's exclusive resources to the partner organizations’ staff, along with special benefits through this agreement.
Management accounting is a specialized accounting field aimed at understanding the financial realities of businesses, thereby assisting managers in making the most effective operational decisions. Management accounting information is particularly crucial for business operations and evaluation of business performance, making it a valuable certification for BVSC personnel.
In response to the warm welcome from both entities, Ms. Bui Thi Mai Hien, Chief Operating Officer of BVSC, shared: "We expect that through collaboration with SAPP and IMA, our partners will provide BVSC with high-quality training programs, access to international standards, thereby enhancing the quality of our current workforce. Both parties can strengthen cooperation in organizing workshops to exchange and learn more professional experience in areas such as management accounting, financial analysis, etc., where experts from IMA can directly discuss from a professional perspective and BVSC share from a practical application perspective”.
