The market ended its winning streak after failing to break through the 1,245-point zone. VN-Index closed down 13.65 points (-1.1%), to 1,227.79 points. Similarly, HNX-Index lost 4.76 points (-2.21%), to 210.24 points.

Following a strong V-shaped rebound, the market is likely to shift into a consolidation phase to establish a short-term equilibrium zone while awaiting updates on developments in tariff negotiations. Stock groups are expected to experience greater divergence based on Q1 earnings results in the final weeks of April.

Support zone: 1,200-1,210 points.

Resistance zone: 1,230-1,250 points.
