The VN-Index closed down 0.5 points, or 0.04%, at 1,226.3 points. Conversely, the HNX-Index gained 0.49 points, or 0.23%, to close at 211.94 points. Trading value on the HOSE and HNX reached VND 15,534 bn and VND 766 bn, respectively.

We maintain our view that the market will likely establish a sideways trading range to form a new near-term price base, as it awaits and absorbs information concerning tariffs.

VN-Index support: 1,180 – 1,200 points.

VN-Index resistance: 1,230 - 1,250 points.
