Strong cash inflow later in the afternoon session helped the market gain 5.17 points (+0.42%), reaching 1,235.65 points. Similarly, HNX-Index gained 0.13 points (+0.06%), to 219.62 points. The trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 12,119 billion and VND 844 billion, respectively.

We expect certain tickers with good Q4/2024 performances will soon announce their achievements this week, thereby supporting stock movements and alleviating some of the downward pressure. After breaking through the crucial support at 1,240-1,245 points, VN-Index may witness technical rebounds to test this zone.

Support zone: 1,215 - 1,220 points.

Resistance zone: 1,250 - 1,255 points.
