The selling pressure still persisted but has eased with low liquidity. At the close of the session, the market lost 6.58 points (-0.53%), to reach 1,229.07 points. Similarly, HNX-Index lost 1.35 points (-0.61%), to 218.27 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 8,529 billion and VND 481 billion, respectively.

Short-term downside risks for the market still remain as the DXY index remains at high levels, and the market is approaching a long holiday period, with uncertainties in terms of information and potential events that may occur.

Support zone: 1,220 - 1,225 points.

Resistance zone: 1,250 - 1,255 points.
