Selling pressure around the 1,340-point level caused the market to reverse and decline. At the close, VN-Index lost 5.29 points (-0.4%), to 1,330.97 points. In contrast, HNX-Index gained 0.26 points (+0.11%), to 247.03 points.

We maintain the view that this is an appropriate time for the market to form a consolidation range before aiming for higher points in the near future. We have positioned VN-Index’s current trading range between 1,317-1,323 and 1,345-1,355 points.

Support zone: 1,325-1,330 points.

Resistance zone: 1,340-1,350 points.
