At the close, VN-Index gained 7.3 points (+0.55%), reaching 1,339.81 points. Similarly, HNX-Index gained 2.38 points (+1.43%), to 221.79 points. Trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 25,027.98 billion and VND 2,049 billion, respectively. Foreign investors net sold VND 1,106.07 billion on HOSE and VND 60.57 billion on HNX.

As capital flows migrate between sectors, stocks that are lagging or currently building a consolidation base will have better opportunities for price movement, which will help the market show a positive trend. VN-Index has the potential to move higher in the final days of May, provided there are no negative news developments.
