Intense selling pressure at the end of the session caused VN-Index to drop 14.15 points (-1.14%), closing at 1,231.89 points. Similarly, HNX-Index lost 2.39 points (-1.06%), to 223.82 points. The trading value on HOSE and HNX reached VND 16,131.67 billion and VND 1,210 billion, respectively.

The DXY Index is rapidly increasing and negatively impacting investor sentiment and overall trends. VN-Index has lost its support zone around 1,240 points and may retreat to test the 1,200-1,220-point range.
